Dear friend,
Once again we look forward to leaving winter behind us and the promises of the blossoming of spring, and once again we celebrate an Easter season with its own special promises of spiritual life. I do hope that you can join us as we celebrate this special season at the Cornish United Church of Christ. Click here to read a letter from our pastor, Kris Stanley, with details about plans for this celebration. Please join us for one or all of our events, and feel free to invite your friends and neighbors to do the same.
As we remember the teaching of Jesus focusing on loving our neighbors and forgiving the mistakes of others as we hope they will forgive our own, we as a church family and as individuals reach out to those in need and count our many blessings. Whether you are new to our community or have a long history with the good people of our Cornish, Maine and Sacopee Valley area, we invite you to join us this Easter as we try to put aside our differences and honor the generosity and companionship of our denizens.
While our priority is to celebrate Easter together with friends old and new, we also use the opportunity to seek contributions to our annual East fund-raiser. Whether you choose to do so or not, we wish you a joyous season and do hope to see you soon.
On behalf of our congregation, God bless you and your family with a healthy and happy season.
